“Being featured as a part of the brilliant team of women at Uprite was an honor and a privilege. We tend to look at work sometimes as a means to an end whether the end includes personal or professional goals. For me I see my time spent at the workplace as what I’m choosing to do with a large portion of my life since we spend a great deal of our waking hours at work. When I think about what I’m doing with my life, I think about the legacy that I’m cultivating and will eventually leave behind. To be able to share with the readers of OCBJ what I’ve been a part of in the past and what I currently value most and am working towards at Uprite supports the legacy I want to leave behind, which is making this company stronger both operationally and charitably- bettering our business and society. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do both with an incredible team around me and women who support each other not just professionally but personally.
